We all know the phrase “When I do this… then Ill be happy”. We’ve all said it. Whether it’s “When I finish college and get a job, then ill be happy” or “When I find a relationship, then ill be happy” or “When I have more money then ill be happy”.
It’s way too easy to get into the habit of constantly wanting more. And while there is nothing wrong with wanting to better yourself and better your life circumstances, it’s important to remember that life is happening to you right now.
As long as your basic needs are being met, nothing stands in your way of finding some form of joy in your everyday life. Most of the time it all come’s down to your mindset!
Incorporating learning, movement, and socialization into your daily life will give you a sense of purpose and fulfillment which are the key to creating the life of your dreams!

Your day to day makes up your whole life. That is why it’s essential to do things daily that will push you in the right direction. By incorporating these 3 things into your every day, you will begin building trust within yourself and see a change in your mindset.
None of these habits need to take a ton of effort. They should be there to make you feel good and help you feel optimistic, healthy, and fulfilled every day. Give these 3 daily habits a try, and you will start to see a major change towards a fulfilling and successful life.
Learn
Every single day is a chance for you to learn something new that will help you be 1% better than you were yesterday. Just imagine if you spend every day learning 1 new thing, that would be 365 new things you learn every single year (366 on a leap year 😉 )!
But in all seriousness taking the time to learn new things can add huge benefits to your life. Think of all the ways you can improve yourself and live your dreams if you knew more about investing, cooking quick healthy meals, or learning how to improve in your career. The options are endless.
Learning is super exciting especially when you are interested in a topic. You don’t have to limit yourself to only learning about what is necessary for your career. Think of your life and your job as 2 different things. Focus on daily learning that you find entertaining when it comes to your personal life.
By consistently learning about the things you find most interesting you will start to get a greater appreciation for life. You will better understand yourself, your personal goals, and the world around you. Most importantly it will give you a sense of purpose which is the key ingredient to creating a life you love.
Move
Movement is single handedly the best way to make a dramatic difference in so many parts of your life.
Movement can be any form of exercise you enjoy. You can go to the gym, do yoga, swim, play tennis, or my personal favorite – go on walks. Movement affects every part of your life, your physical and mental health, social interaction, and brain function. It’s also great at improving your mood and reducing your stress.
Use movement as a way to spend quality time with yourself. Get in touch with your body, listen to your favorite podcasts or shows, and take some time to enjoy and appreciate your body for what it can do for you.
Speaking from personal experience, I try to get a walk in every single day. And on the days that I go on a walk, I can feel the difference it makes. The day feels productive, my mood gets so much better, and not going to lie, my daily walk is where I come up with my best ideas!
Just remember, movement does not have to be the same as working out. You don’t need to go to the gym for an hour every day and put in 100% if that’s not something you love to do. Just pick an activity that’s easy, fun, and something that makes you feel connected to yourself. Thats the key!
Socialize
Seeing this next section every introvert probably just closed this article… but keep reading, im an introvert too I promise!
As humans, we are social creatures, and socialization brings us joy. Even if you are an introvert (I am too) we have those special people in our lives we love talking to. This is why you should incorporate this into your daily life, it’s fun!
Socializing can be a variety of things: going on a coffee date, texting, calling your grandma, or Facetiming. But I will even argue that socializing can be listening to your favorite audiobook or podcast! Basically, anything that is fun and enjoyable and gets you thinking!
Find a way to connect with people you find interesting and who you feel like you can learn from. Not only is this fun, but it also reduces feelings of loneliness, and increases your sense of belonging. And expanding your social network will expose you to new ideas and perspectives!
Overall having quality conversations with people, whether it be in person, over the phone, or in the comments of a Youtube video can add awesome benefits to your life. It’s absolutely key to incorporate into your routine when creating a life you love!
All in all, these 3 habits work together to create a fulfilling and happy day. If you are able to learn, move and be social every single day you will see a difference in your mindset. These things are the foundation to creating a life you love. Because when you can challenge yourself to grow and become just a little better every day you begin to have purpose and joy in your life, and that is the real secret to loving your every day!
